6th Annual Event, Huge Success!
Our 6th Annual military appreciation day and private 4-person best shot tournament was absolutely incredible and our most successful year, to date. We raised $51,000.00 to give back to our Iowa Military Families.
We had a black hawk fly in and land on static display from Boone, IA along with 2 humvees from our DSM units. There was music, yard games, food and drinks, and every service member received a gift and free meal!
We gave out over 200 military dog tags with personal names of loved ones from Iowa who died on the front lines protecting our freedom. We also gave out custom made lunch coolers, koozies, swag-you name it, no one left empty handed!
As I was handing out dog tags, story after story poured in. Folks knowing the names on the tags, children named after these fallen heroes, best friends they grew up with, and one story that’ll stick with me forever, as I handed over a randomly chosen dog tag to my very good friend, he said, “You are never going to believe this but I was there the day he died.” To say our angels were with us, is a true understatement... as long as I’m able I will continue to push our mission into this world and support our heroes and their families!!!!
I owe everything to my community supporting me and we cannot exist without you, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who share this vision with me and know you are truly saving and changing lives, and never forget we are standing on the shoulders of the most courageous and selfless heroes that exist!
God Bless!!!
